Speed Development School
Speed Development School is a 10 week program used to enhance acceleration, lateral movement, and maximum speed. This program will also work on the athlete’s body composition and anaerobic/aerobic endurance depending on their sport. This developmental program will be preceded by an active dynamic warm-up and concluded by a tissue regeneration session. Speed Development School will focus on stride length and frequency, running mechanics, and motor system rewire which will help to eliminate any counterproductive movement. SAQ, speed, agility, and quickness will all be addressed. Video and still frame analysis will also be used to enhance speed development, performance, and as a teaching tool.
Speed School sessions will last one hour in duration and meet two days per week. All sessions will be directed by a Certified Speed Coach. Athlete to Coach Ratio will not exceed 6:1.
