Jeff Sassone MS, CSCS, USAW
Jeff has been in the performance- coaching field for over twelve years and brings a vast array of knowledge and experience to any coaching staff. He is currently the Director of Performance at Velocity Sports Performance in Tampa, Florida. He has great expertise in planning and implementing strength and conditioning programs for youth through elite professional athletes. Jeff applied that knowledge as the Director of the International Performance Institute (IPI), in Bradenton, Florida and as the Director of Sports Performance at the Sports Performance Center in Dallas, TX. His vast background and coaching experience has earned him recognition as one of the nations foremost leaders in training the elite professional, amateur, and junior athlete. He also has experience with Major League Baseball Training Preparation, NFL Combine and Professional Tennis Training. Jeff earned his Masters Degree from the University of Illinois, and his BS from the University of South Florida.
Korey Goodwin BS, CSCS, USAW
Korey is originally from the Los Angeles, CA area where he worked with athletes of all ages and backgrounds. Korey has done extensive work with youth and elite professional athletes in a variety of sports including baseball, football, soccer, tennis, golf, and cheerleading. He has also worked under and learned from distinct performance coaches such as Mark Verstegan and many others. In addition, he has studied under several doctors and other medical practitioners. Korey earned his B.S. in Exercise Science from California State University at San Bernardino.

Ron McKeefrey MS, CSCS
Ronnie McKeefery is in his fifth year with the USF athletic
department and his fourth as the head strength & conditioning coach.
In this position he oversees the strength & conditioning programs
for all USF sports while working directly with the football team.
McKeefery first came to USF in the 2000-01 season as an assistant strength
& conditioning coach with the USF football team. Prior to joining
the Bulls, he served as the head strength & conditioning coach with
the Berlin Thunder NFL Europe team during the 2000 season and was a part-time
assistant strength & conditioning coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
during the 1999 season.
A college football player for Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kan., McKeefery
got his start as an assistant football coach in charge of defensive backs
in the fall of 1998 at Ottawa. During that semester, he also served as
an intern strength & conditioning coach with the Kansas City Royals.
A former all-conference defensive back at Ottawa, McKeefery was a two-time
Academic All-American and earned his bachelor's degree in biology and
physical education in 1998.
Beth Spack
Beth Spak is in her third year as an assistant strength
and conditioning coach for USF and in her second working directly with
the USF volleyball program. She also works with the men’s and women’s
soccer, the men’s and women’s golf, the men’s tennis
and the softball teams at USF.
As a strength and conditioning coach, her role is to improve the student-athlete’s
performance and to prevent injury by designing a program that is a combination
of functional strength training, plyometrics and conditioning.
Spak came to USF from Georgia Tech were she served as an intern during
the spring of 2002 working with the football, softball and men’s
golf teams. Prior to that she worked at Springfield College (Mass.) while
receiving her master’s degree in exercise science. Her first year
at Springfield she served as an assistant softball coach while also doing
an internship at Boston University. In her second year she worked in the
weight room with the men’s and women’s gymnastics and field
hockey teams while assisting with all other teams at the school.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University
of Georgia where she was a four-year member of the softball team as a
right fielder. Her junior and senior seasons she received academic all-america
distinctions.
